388 Cases of Illnesses Reported from Indoor Water Park Reported
After an outbreak of norovirus at an indoor water park in upstate New York, the number of people reporting illnesses is approaching 400.
According to state health officials 388 cases have been reported by people who visited the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge and Indoor Water Park earlier this month.

Two people were hospitalized and since have been released according to the health officials.
Norovirus is characterized by acute gastrointestinal pain, vomiting and diarrhea lasting up to two days. The illness is not considered to be dangerous to the general public.
So far, four of the families infected have filed a lawsuit against the water park, which is located about 50 miles north of Albany.
